Turn Me On Coffee

I had a lot of fun with this one! Turn Me On Coffee might sound like an innuendo, but I promise—it’s not. This brand was designed with the tech-savvy in mind: the kind of person who needs a strong pick-me-up to power through their day. I envisioned Turn Me On Coffee as Silicon Valley’s go-to brew.

My design choices were heavily inspired by computer circuitry, which is also reflected in the logo. I used the power icon to represent the “O” in “On,” giving the logo a clever, instantly recognizable tech reference. For the type, I chose Helvetica for its bold, sleek, and modern look. For headers and subheads, I couldn’t resist using a digital watch-style typeface—Watch MN. Since it was only available as an outline, I modified it slightly to make it more usable across my designs.

The color palette—dark green, light green, and yellow—was inspired by the circuit boards I used to take apart as a kid. These colors helped tie in the nostalgic, hands-on tech aesthetic that pairs perfectly with the theme. To me, computers, programming, and coffee are a no brainer.
